Cheer for Fun Preschool
All our new starters begin with our Cheer for Fun classes which are on Saturday mornings during term time. The Cheer for Fun is a recreational session where they learn the basic skills for gymnastics and acrobatics.
Cheer for Fun Preschool is for children aged 2.5+ and parents are asked to stay in the social area. Sessions are held on Saturdays in term time between 9:00 and 10:00 am.

How to register your child

When you log in after registering, go to payments and then extras and select the classes from the list. The classes open after our current members have had their time for priority booking- please wait for an email to confirm the classes are open to book. We cannot guarantee a place for a class if you book an incorrect class.
Payments
The cost for term 1 is £49.00 starting Saturday 4th September and ending 16th October.
*We can adjust your payment if you start mid-way through a term- please do not book yourself onto a class as it will automatically charge full price.
If you select ‘Pre-authorise payments, it just means that your card can be charged for future payments, it’s not an automatic direct debit for all classes. You are in control of which sessions you choose to attend.
Progression
If your child really enjoys the sessions and has gained the required skills, a coach will invite them to a prep team, and then a competition team when they are ready and if there is space on the team.
If they’re happy doing what they’re doing, they can continue to come along for cheer for fun
Where are the sessions?
All sessions are held at Unit 74 BSS House, Cheney Manor Industrial Estate, SN2 2PJ. This is an Industrial unit and can become cold, please wear layers such as leggings, crop top, t-shirt and long sleeve top. Socks or bare feet is fine.
Is there parking?
Yes, BSS house has plenty of FREE parking, and we are close to the entrance doors.
What to wear
Comfortable clothes that you can move around in. We recommend wearing layers as the gym can get hot and cold however you will get warm during the class!
***Please remember to remove all jewellery before the session and have hair tied up in plaits or a bun***
After one term of our classes, we expect all attendees to purchase a t-shirt from our online site here. Find us under the cheer section in Swindon Lightning.
T-shirts are black, white or purple and range from £13-£15 and personalisation is free!
